Hello Sister and Brother Cursillistas….

“Behold, the Lamb of God”

With Christmas and New Year behind us, we now look forward to 2020 with great expectations and hope; each of us with our desires for the new year.

One my desires in 2020 is that I see face Christ in those that I meet, work, and play, that I love unconditionally.  John the Baptist’s confident recognition of our Lord Jesus Christ is a reminder for us to see the face of Christ in each other.   Just as Jesus accepts and loves each of us as we are and where we are, so too we love and accept each other where we are and as we are, with no judgment.

De Colores – all the best you in 2020 to as we journey together as Christians to love and serve our Lord and one another.

Credit Card Payments and Donations

Some of you may have noticed that beginning the Fall 2019 weekends, the Secretariat has accepted online credit card payments for candidate registration fees, team payments, and donations for the first time! You might have also noticed the Payments and Donate buttons were added to the banner of our website at www.sanjosecursillo.org. This was in response to feedback from Community requesting a credit card payment option in addition to using cash and check.

Given this, a credit card payment option is now available to the wider community in addition to cash and check.

For more information, please check out our payment landing page at: www.sanjosecursillo.org/payments.

Through the integration of PayPal’s interface and process, we will be to accept all major credit card safely and securely so that the Secretariat will never need to collect any personal credit card information. Please note that all credit card transactions will have a nominal convenience fee added to the normal payment fees. We are impartial to the payment method but this will give the community a choice to more methods where cash and check are always accepted.

In Closing …

Formation of the Men’s and Women’s Spring 2020 respective teams is up and going.

The Women’s theme is “I Will Trust In You” and the Men’s theme is “Choose Christ“.

Please keep Spring 2020 Rector Chris Lavond and Rectora Jennifer Ventura and their teams in prayer!

The current weekend page can be found at:

There is room for both Women and Men candidates this Spring. Your personal invitation and witness to the Gospel are the best ways to motivate a person to attend a weekend.

Won’t you please reach and invite a friend to make their Cursillo?

Keeping each of you in daily prayer….
